Self-Assessment – Personal Tax

Compiling and submitting a self-assessment tax return can be a very complicated process especially since HMRC are constantly introducing new rules and regulations.

Self-Assessment applies to:

Self-employed people including business partners
Company Directors
Individuals with more complicated tax affairs including those who pay higher rate tax
Pensioners with more complex tax affairs
People who receive rent or other income from land and property in the UK

Contact you on early in the tax year with a list of the information we require
Send reminders if the information is not received
Complete the return within 4 weeks provided the information is submitted to us before 31 October
File the return on your behalf before the deadline (provided the information is passed to us before 30 November)
Calculate the tax due rather than relying on HMRC to get it right
Check any tax demands that are sent to you
Advise on the potential for reducing payments on account
Identify any expenses or reliefs you may be entitled to claim to reduce your tax bill
